Dr M. Annapoorna, MBBS, DCH, DNB (Paediatrics) has completed MBBS degree at Madurai Medical College, Madurai, Completed DCH in Institute of Child Health & Research Centre, Egmore, Chennai, attached to Madras Medical College, Chennai wherein she gained a lot of practical experience in various spectrum of diseases in paediatrics.
She further completed her DNB (Paediatrics) in Mehta Multispeciality hospitals, Chetpet, Chennai, where she built up her interest in managing paediatric, neonatal intensive care and paediatric endocrinology. During her study period in Mehta Multispeciality hospitals, Chennai, she has worked under legendary paediatricians of Tamilnadu. Her topic of study was Dengue infection as her thesis.

She has attended many state and national Conferences and had presented various papers and posters in paediatric Dengue infection. She presented her award winning paper on Adolescent girls polycystic ovary disease in state paediatric conference. She has also co-authored a few chapters in paediatric textbooks. She is a member of Indian Academy of Paediatrics.
Her special interest is paediatric, neonatal intensive care and paediatric endocrinology.
